About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Inventory Control Manager for a fully remote position. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and maximize order fulfillment accuracy across all operations. This role demands a high level of analytical capability, a deep understanding of inventory control systems, and the ability to drive process improvements remotely.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and profitability of the supply chain through meticulous inventory oversight and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels, turnover rates, and stock accuracy across multiple locations.
  • Implement effective cycle counting and physical inventory procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Identify and manage obsolete, slow-moving, or excess inventory to minimize write-offs.
  • Collaborate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to forecast demand and plan inventory needs.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track stock, manage orders, and generate reports.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory management, control, or a related supply chain role.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing and improving inventory control systems.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is preferred.
