Logistics Analyst - Supply Chain Optimization

Our client is seeking a highly analytical Logistics Analyst to drive supply chain optimization initiatives from their offices in Sandton . This role is pivotal in identifying inefficiencies, recommending improvements, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance our logistics network. You will leverage advanced analytics and reporting tools to monitor performance, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels and transportation routes. This hybrid role combines remote analytical work with on-site strategic planning and collaboration.

• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Model and forecast demand to optimize inventory and transportation planning.
• Recommend and implement strategies for cost reduction and efficiency gains across the supply chain.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Analyst or in a similar data-focused supply chain role.
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, transportation modes, and warehousing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
