Our client is looking for a strategic and analytical Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join their team, operating remotely from Mahikeng . This role is critical for developing and implementing effective sourcing strategies that optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and mitigate risks within the supply chain. You will conduct in-depth market analysis, lead complex negotiations, and build robust relationships with key suppliers to secure favorable terms and ensure business continuity.

- Develop and execute category strategies for key spend areas to achieve optimal value.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and supplier landscape analysis.
- Lead and manage complex sourcing events, including RFPs, RFQs, and negotiations.
- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with strategic suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and KPIs.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements within the sourcing function.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement , or category management.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional sourcing projects and complex negotiations.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and purchasing software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
