Senior FMCG Supply Chain Planner

Our client, a leader in the FMCG sector , is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior FMCG Supply Chain Planner for a fully remote position. This role is critical for ensuring the efficient and effective flow of goods from suppliers to consumers, managing inventory levels, and optimizing logistics operations. You will be responsible for demand forecasting, inventory planning, and coordinating with various stakeholders to meet product availability targets while minimizing costs.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain planning methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to drive process improvements in a remote-first setting. This is an excellent opportunity to shape supply chain strategy for a growing brand.

• Develop and execute accurate demand forecasts for a wide range of FMCG products, collaborating with sales and marketing teams.
• Optimize inventory levels across the supply chain to ensure product availability while minimizing holding costs and obsolescence.
• Plan and manage production schedules in coordination with manufacturing facilities to meet forecasted demand.
• Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain planning function to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Monitor supply chain performance against key metrics and provide regular reports and insights to management.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning , preferably within the FMCG industry .
• Proven expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, and sales and operations planning (S&OP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in supply chain planning software and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
