FMCG Supply Chain Analyst; Remote

Our client seeks a detail-oriented and analytical FMCG Supply Chain Analyst to join their fully remote operations team. You will play a critical role in optimizing the company's supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products across the South African landscape. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics within the fast-moving consumer goods industry.

The ideal candidate will be adept at using data to drive improvements and support strategic decision-making from a remote location.

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for cost savings.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory management, logistics, and transportation processes for FMCG products .
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports on supply chain performance.
• Utilize advanced analytics and forecasting techniques to optimize demand planning and inventory levels across various regions including Centurion and beyond.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, preferably in the FMCG industry .
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and supply chain software.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, suitable for a remote work environment .
