Our client is actively recruiting a talented Remote Management Consultant with expertise in Supply Chain Optimization to join their globally distributed team. You will analyze complex logistics networks, identify inefficiencies, and design innovative solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase resilience.
This position is perfect for a self-motivated consultant who thrives in a virtual environment and possesses deep knowledge of modern supply chain practices and technologies.
- Conduct end-to-end supply chain assessments, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Develop and implement strategies for supply chain cost reduction, efficiency improvement, and risk mitigation.
- Utilize data analytics and modeling tools to optimize network design, inventory levels, and transportation routes.
- Collaborate effectively with global client teams and stakeholders in a virtual setting to ensure successful implementation of recommendations.
- Advise clients on the adoption of relevant technologies such as WMS, TMS, and advanced planning systems.
- Prepare insightful reports and presentations to communicate findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain consulting, operations management, or logistics.
- Proven track record of delivering significant improvements in supply chain performance and cost reduction for clients.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in supply chain modeling and simulation software.
- Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain best practices and emerging trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
