SCHEDULE:
Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift, 7A - 5P (REMOTE WORK IS APPROVED)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Contracts Specialist serves as an essential role in the Materials Management/Supply Chain department. This role will work diligently to manage the lifecycle of vendor, medical product, and service contracts/agreements. The Contracts Specialist will collaborate with department personnel and leadership to ensure industry standard processes for contract management. The main objectives in this vital role is to ensure cost-effective purchasing, maintain item and pricing data integrity, and enforce compliance with healthcare laws and group purchasing organization (GPO) standards.
EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field required. Relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of formal education.
EXPERIENCEMinimum of two (2) years’ experience with Supply Chain, Contract Administration, and/or Healthcare Procurement.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Premier, Infor, Workday, SAP, People Soft) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software.
- Understanding of healthcare operations, GPO contracts, and medical product categories.
- Strong analytical capabilities, strong attention to detail, and effective negotiation skills.
Most work will be completed in a business environment, office setting. There is a possibility of irregular hours depending on work load and volume. Extreme mental effort under busy conditions and constant change (stress). Ability to assess problems, make decisions, and be innovative. May spend time in warehouse setting, so the ability to stand, sit, bend, push, pull, and lift moderate weight of 30lbs will be required.
