This role will be based onsite at Wayfair’s new facility in California, leading the day‑to‑day operations of the fulfillment center and driving continuous improvement and safety excellence.

• Develop robust relationships with key stakeholders and senior management to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
• Oversee overall protection, employee engagement, collaboration, performance and patron satisfaction of the fulfillment center operations.
• Create and sustain a strong safety culture that actively eliminates risks from the operation.
• Command a senior presence, lead and build a high‑performing team of operations managers and supervisors.
• Introduce process improvement initiatives, Lean tools, and other continuous‑improvement activities to drive measurable results.
• Partner closely with cross‑functional business partners—transportation, S&OP, data integration, employee engagement, inventory planning, engineering, and others—to coordinate purposeful work activities.
• Track and drive key performance metrics to ensure outstanding customer experience and fulfillment of company commitments.
• Contribute to the development of new equipment, procedures, and technology that enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support process and innovation initiatives that enable commercial goals for sales, operational performance, and profitability.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment with clear communication and rigorous observation.
• Lead method‑improvement projects that deliver year‑over‑year growth while streamlining day‑to‑day operations.
• Communicate operational performance improvements and recommendations to the organization.

• Experience with complex operational, process, and performance improvement initiatives (Lean or Six Sigma experience highly valued) along with process mapping and redesign.
• 4+ years of experience in e‑commerce, supply chain, operations, or logistics.
• Strong engineering or production background with the ability to understand flow and throughput within an operation.
• Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and integrate diverse viewpoints into a cohesive plan.
• Demonstrated passion and commitment to people‑centric leadership that delivers results in a fast‑growing environment.
• Strong focus on safety as a cost driver, not just a compliance requirement.
• Self‑starter with the confidence and entrepreneurial mindset to manage and delegate projects effectively.
• Leadership experience that establishes a culture of continuous improvement.
• Analytical ability to gather and interpret data to support recommendations and implementations.
• Technologically savvy, collaborative leader proficient with Google Suite and other relevant tools.
• Highly organized, meticulous, and detail‑oriented.
