Supply Chain and Operations Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic Supply Chain and Operations Manager to lead and integrate supply chain functions with overall operational strategies in Richards Bay . This role is instrumental in optimizing the flow of goods, managing inventory, and enhancing overall supply chain efficiency to support business growth. You will be responsible for strategic sourcing, logistics management, and driving operational improvements that impact cost, quality, and delivery.

This is a key leadership position for an individual with a strong background in both supply chain management and operations within the industrial sector of Kwa Zulu-Natal .

• Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement and delivery of goods.
• Oversee daily operations, including warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics coordination.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand, plan production, and manage inventory levels effectively.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain and operations to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards within the operational and logistics environment.

• Significant experience in supply chain management and operations, with a proven ability to manage complex logistics.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in supplier relationship management.
• Demonstrated ability to optimize operational processes and drive efficiency improvements.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• Experience working within the industrial or manufacturing sector in Richards Bay or surrounding areas.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in supply chain planning software.
