Senior Buyer

Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Buyer to join their fully remote procurement team. This role will be responsible for managing key supplier relationships, negotiating favorable contracts, and driving significant cost savings across various spend categories. You will leverage your expertise to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, ensuring the timely and cost-efficient procurement of goods and services critical to the organization's success.

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for assigned categories, including market analysis, supplier selection, and negotiation of complex contracts.
• Manage and develop relationships with key suppliers, driving performance improvements and ensuring compliance.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through effective negotiation and category management.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure procurement strategies align with organizational goals.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance, proactively addressing risks and opportunities.
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in a remote setting .

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in buying , procurement, or strategic sourcing.
• Proven track record of successful negotiation and cost reduction achievements.
• In-depth knowledge of contract management and supplier relationship management principles.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders in a remote context.
