Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Strategic Sourcer to join their procurement team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in identifying and securing cost-effective and high-quality suppliers for various business needs. You will conduct in-depth market research, develop sourcing strategies, and lead negotiations to achieve optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and strategic fit.
- Develop and execute detailed sourcing plans and strategies for assigned categories.
- Lead negotiation processes to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to understand supplier landscapes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key strategic suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define requirements and ensure alignment with sourcing objectives.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing sourcing strategies that deliver significant cost savings.
- Expertise in negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform market research and spend analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
