Logistics Manager - FMCG; Remote

About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize their FMCG supply chain operations remotely. This critical role involves managing the end-to-end flow of goods, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery to customers and distribution centers. You will be responsible for developing logistics strategies, managing transportation networks, and implementing best practices in warehousing and distribution, all while working from a remote location.

• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to support the company's FMCG business objectives.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), carriers, and suppliers to ensure optimal service levels and cost control.
• Oversee transportation planning, execution, and optimization to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory management and warehousing processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and service enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies in logistics operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in logistics management , with a strong focus on the FMCG sector .
• Proven experience in managing transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks.
• Proficiency in logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, WMS) and advanced analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working effectively in a remote team environment is essential.
