Transportation Coordinator

Our client is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to join their team. As a Transportation Coordinator, you will be part of the transportation operations group supporting day-to-day load execution and on-time delivery performance. The ideal candidate will have strong follow-through, clear communication, and a detail-focused mindset that will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: 28
-29 W2

• Timely follow up on loads to confirm on-time delivery and apply the correct reason codes when service failures occur.
• Perform daily load tracking in Four Kites, including proactive follow-ups with carriers that are not tracking on time and updating systems with the latest delivery information.
• Support Freight Covered Every Day by proactively analyzing schedules and service performance to help prevent delivery failures and improve product fill rate.
• Maintain professional carrier and customer relationships through consistent, prompt communication—especially when issues arise.
• Assist the Transportation Manager with on-time reporting and other reporting functions as assigned, including support for detention management and operating metrics.

• High School Diploma.
• 2+ years of customer service experience in a manufacturing or transportation environment.
• Ability to multitask while working accurately in web-based systems.
• Comfort working in tools such as SAP and Microsoft Excel (or equivalent experience with enterprise systems and spreadsheets).
• Strong attention to detail for reason code documentation, EDI accuracy, and load tracking updates.

• Hands-on involvement in load scheduling, tracking, and coordination across carriers, distribution centers, and production plants.
• Experience supporting a new software/process implementation during a 7-month contract.
