Remote Logistics Coordinator

About the Role  Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Remote Logistics Coordinator to manage transportation activities from a remote location. This role is vital for ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods, coordinating shipments, and optimizing logistics processes across various regions. You will act as a key point of contact for drivers, clients, and internal teams, ensuring all logistical operations run seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities   Coordinate daily transportation activities, including scheduling pickups and deliveries, and optimizing routes.
Liaise with drivers, clients, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate shipment information.
Manage shipping documentation, customs declarations, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Monitor shipment progress and proactively address any delays or issues that may arise.
Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities using the company's management system.
Provide remote support for warehouse and dispatch operations as needed.
Requirements   A relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a logistics or transportation coordination role, with proven remote work capability.
Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong understanding of shipping procedures, import/export regulations, and supply chain principles.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a remote setting.
