Inventory Controller - Retail Operations

About the Role  Our client is looking for a meticulous and organized Inventory Controller to manage and maintain accurate inventory levels for their retail operations, working remotely. This role is essential for ensuring product availability, minimizing stock discrepancies, and optimizing inventory costs. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory management systems and processes. Key Responsibilities   Implement and manage inventory control systems and procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
Monitor stock levels and reorder points, ensuring timely replenishment to prevent stockouts.
Analyze inventory data to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize stock rotation.
Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to align inventory levels with sales forecasts and promotional activities.
Requirements   Proven experience as an Inventory Controller or in a similar inventory management role, preferably in retail.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
Proficiency with inventory management software and ERP systems.
