Import​/Export Coordinator

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Import/Export Coordinator to manage international trade operations. This fully remote position allows you to orchestrate global shipments and ensure compliance with customs regulations from your own office. You will be responsible for coordinating the seamless movement of goods across borders, liaising with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of international trade laws and documentation, coupled with excellent organizational skills to handle the complexities of global logistics.

This role is essential for maintaining efficient international supply chains.

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation, including customs declarations, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
• Liaise with customs authorities, brokers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines to facilitate smooth transit.
• Track shipments, provide status updates to stakeholders, and resolve any issues that arise during transit.
• Maintain accurate records of all international trade transactions and ensure compliance with trade agreements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline import/export processes and reduce associated costs.

• Proven experience as an Import/Export Coordinator or in a similar international logistics role.
• In-depth knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and international trade laws.
• Proficiency in using import/export documentation software and customs clearance systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with global partners and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a remote environment .
