Procurement Category Manager

Our client, [Industry Descriptor] is seeking a Procurement Category Manager 4 to join their team. As a Procurement Category Manager 4, you will be part of the Finance, Accounting and Procurement department supporting GSC  1215. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to analyze financial and technical data, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Support the execution of fiber and telecom infrastructure supply chain programs by managing supplier capacity and tracking critical deliveries.
• Monitor project demand and maintain demand/capacity forecasts, reporting, and dashboards to support executive visibility.
• Coordinate cross-functional communications across planning, engineering, construction, and procurement stakeholders to keep work aligned to deployment schedules.
• Manage supplier meeting cadences, document action items, and help drive escalation management when delivery risks are identified.
• Support process improvements by analyzing supplier performance, price proposals, and other technical data to reduce friction and protect timelines.

What's Needed?

• 8-10 years of finance-related experience with demonstrated experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, project coordination, or telecommunications infrastructure.
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills, with the ability to build and maintain clear reporting and dashboards.
• Experience tracking demand and capacity, monitoring supplier performance, and identifying delivery risks.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally, document customer/client information accurately, and coordinate action items across teams.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to purchasing, plus familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
