Supply Chain Analyst - FMCG; Remote

Our client, a prominent leader in the FMCG sector, is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join their distributed team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while playing a critical role in optimizing the company's supply chain operations across South Africa . You will be responsible for analyzing data, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending solutions to improve inventory management, logistics, and overall supply chain performance.

• Analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) dashboards and reports to track supply chain performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, logistics, operations) and external partners to ensure seamless flow of goods.
• Forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize stock placement to minimize stockouts and reduce carrying costs.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the supply chain using data-driven insights and best practices.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain technologies and systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, preferably within the FMCG industry .
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R) and experience with ERP/WMS systems.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics operations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate findings effectively in a remote setting .
