Inventory Control Specialist

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join their team, offering a fully remote work arrangement. This role is critical for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the integrity of stock levels across multiple locations. You will be responsible for implementing and refining inventory control procedures, conducting cycle counts, and analyzing inventory data to identify discrepancies and optimize stock management.

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of stock records.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock while minimizing carrying costs.
• Work with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure efficient receiving, storage, and shipping processes.
• Analyze inventory data to identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend disposition strategies.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory control or inventory management.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Understanding of warehouse operations and supply chain principles.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
