Remote Retail Inventory Manager

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and experienced Remote Retail Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory levels across their entire retail network. This is a fully remote position, requiring a skilled professional with extensive experience in inventory management systems, forecasting, and supply chain coordination. You will be responsible for ensuring optimal stock availability, minimizing stockouts and overstock situations, and driving inventory efficiency to support sales and profitability.

This role is critical for maintaining the financial health and operational smoothness of the business, managing complex inventory strategies from a remote location that supports operations across regions like North West . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong analytical capabilities, and excels in a remote work setting.

• Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies and policies.
• Oversee all aspects of inventory control, including ordering, receiving, storage, and stocktaking.
• Utilize inventory management software and systems to track stock levels and movement.
• Analyze sales data and forecast future inventory needs to optimize stock levels.
• Identify and address discrepancies, stockouts, and overstock situations proactively.
• Collaborate with purchasing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.
• Implement strategies to reduce inventory holding costs and minimize waste.
• Monitor key inventory performance indicators (KPIs) and report on findings.
• Ensure compliance with company inventory procedures and safety standards.
• Recommend and implement improvements to inventory management processes and systems.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in retail inventory management or supply chain management.
• Proven expertise in inventory control systems, forecasting techniques, and demand planning.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite) and MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent understanding of supply chain dynamics and logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage remote teams/projects effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
