Our Danfoss Power Solutions Team in Ames is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. This is a project-based role focused on logistics, warehousing, transportation, trade compliance and customer service globally.

• Optimize logistics setup and process
• Support logistics initiatives focused on warehousing
• Transportation and trade compliance;
• Develop and implement logistics concepts reducing cost to serve and improving delivery services,
• Including changes to SAP setup
• TIP plans, documentation and presentations; participate in cross-functional improvement projects on local, regional or global level
• Ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget
• Act as system knowledge expert (SME) supporting as a central competency
• Support established KPl's with follow up structure (PDCA).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
• 6 years experience in materials planning and production planning in a manufacturing facility
• 2 years experience using SAP in a Supply Chain role
