Remote Head of Supply Chain & Logistics; FMCG

Our client, a rapidly growing leader in the FMCG sector, is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Supply Chain & Logistics to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This is a strategic leadership role for an individual passionate about optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations for a diverse range of consumer products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of goods to market, all while managing a global network of suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution partners.

• Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and demand planning.
• Oversee and optimize the global logistics network, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery of products.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing, distributed team of supply chain professionals.
• Implement best practices and leverage technology (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS) to enhance supply chain visibility and efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to quality and service level agreements.
• Develop and manage the supply chain budget, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including import/export laws and safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product development teams to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain function.
• Analyze supply chain performance metrics and report on key performance indicators to senior leadership.

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain and logistics management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the FMCG industry.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful supply chain strategies that have driven significant cost reductions and efficiency gains.
• Extensive experience with global supply chain operations, including international logistics and customs.
• Strong expertise in inventory management, demand forecasting, and network optimization.
• Proficiency in modern supply chain technologies and ERP systems.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage and inspire a remote team effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
