This is a full‑time remote position aligned with US Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.

- Coordinate sailing schedules, shipment deadlines, and cargo cutoff dates to ensure timely departures
- Prepare House Bills of Lading and shipping instructions in accordance with customer and regulatory requirements
- Complete AES/EEI export filings and verify export licensing requirements and commodity‑specific documentation
- Communicate directly with US customers, overseas agents, warehouses, and shippers to provide shipment updates and resolve issues
- Track active shipments and manage invoicing and shipment records through the company’s Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Matric (Grade 12) as a minimum; a National Diploma or relevant NQF Level 6 qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or International Trade is advantageous
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ocean freight export operations at a freight forwarder or NVOCC, with hands‑on LCL export experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of export documentation, freight consolidation, CFS operations, and weight/measurement (W/M) rating
- Experience completing export compliance filings and managing regulatory documentation requirements
- Proficiency with a freight forwarding or Transportation Management System (TMS)
- Ability to work full‑time during US Eastern Standard Time business hours
- Direct experience handling US LCL export shipments and working with US co‑loader networks
- Familiarity with AES/EEI filing requirements and US export regulations
- Experience coordinating FCL exports or handling hazardous cargo (IMDG‑classified shipments)
- Prior experience communicating with international logistics partners and US‑based customers in a remote or agency environment
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Professionalism and reliability
