Operations Administrator & Logistics Coordinator

Our client, a rapidly growing e-commerce company based in Port Elizabeth , is looking for an efficient and proactive Operations Administrator & Logistics Coordinator. You will be responsible for managing daily operational tasks, coordinating with logistics partners, and maintaining efficient communication channels to ensure timely delivery of products. This is a key role that impacts customer satisfaction and business growth.

• Oversee and manage daily operational tasks, including order processing, inventory management, and fulfillment coordination.
• Liaise with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipment of goods.
• Monitor shipment statuses, proactively address potential delays or issues, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and operational costs.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics and operational procedures to improve workflow and reduce errors.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve any operational or delivery-related issues.
• Generate reports on operational performance, logistics costs, and delivery times.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in operations and logistics.
• Manage returns and exchanges, ensuring a smooth process for customers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations and company policies.

• Proven experience in operations administration, logistics coordination, or a similar role, preferably within e-commerce or retail.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics principles.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software, ERP systems, and standard office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with external partners.
• Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Experience with remote work tools and platforms is essential.
• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is advantageous.
• Familiarity with the logistics landscape in the Eastern Cape is a plus.
