The Logistics Coordination Specialist is a part-time remote role responsible for supporting day-to-day logistics and supply chain activities. This position coordinates shipments, tracks orders, and communicates with internal teams, customers, and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. The specialist reviews documentation for domestic and export movements, maintains accurate records in logistics systems, and helps resolve delivery or service issues.
Daily tasks include analyzing shipping data, monitoring inventory or order status, and responding to customer inquiries with clear, professional communication. The role also involves identifying process improvements, supporting compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to overall supply chain efficiency.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, monitor shipment performance, and support problem resolution.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Supply Chain Management to understand order flows, inventory impact, and vendor coordination.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Export processes, documentation, and basic regulatory requirements.
- Relevant qualifications include experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain support; proficiency with spreadsheets and logistics or ERP systems; and strong organization and time-management abilities.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include prior remote work experience, attention to detail, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and education in business, supply chain, or a related field.
