Senior Supply Chain Manager - E-commerce Operations

This is a fully remote position, designed for a strategic leader who can optimize the entire supply chain from inventory management and warehousing to last-mile delivery, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge strategies to manage high volumes of online orders, minimize delivery times, and control costs. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of e-commerce logistics, data analytics, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced digital environment. This role requires significant autonomy and the ability to drive operational excellence remotely.

• Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies specifically for e-commerce operations, focusing on speed, cost-efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory management, demand forecasting, and warehouse operations to support online order fulfillment.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, carriers, and other supply chain partners.
• Optimize last-mile delivery processes to enhance delivery speed and reduce costs.
• Implement and refine strategies for returns management and reverse logistics.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time delivery rates, and inventory turnover, and drive continuous improvement.
• Utilize data analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed operational decisions.
• Collaborate closely with e-commerce, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and a superior customer experience.
• Manage supply chain budgets and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in e-commerce supply chain management.

• A Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with a strong focus on e-commerce operations.
• Proven track record in optimizing online order fulfillment, inventory management, and last-mile delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, WMS, TMS, and supply chain analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex logistics networks and negotiate with 3PLs and carriers.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead remote teams effectively.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in a high-growth e-commerce environment is highly desirable.
