About the Role
Our client is looking for a strategic and proactive Commercial Cleaning Manager to lead their cleaning operations, primarily managing remote teams and vendor relationships. This role is critical for ensuring that all commercial properties managed by our client maintain exemplary standards of cleanliness and hygiene. You will be responsible for developing operational strategies, overseeing vendor performance, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations, all while working remotely.
The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record in managing large-scale cleaning operations from a distance, ensuring excellence across diverse commercial portfolios.
- Develop and implement comprehensive cleaning strategies and operational plans for commercial properties.
- Manage and oversee the performance of cleaning vendors, ensuring adherence to contracts and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Conduct remote quality assessments and performance reviews of cleaning services provided.
- Manage cleaning budgets, including forecasting, expenditure tracking, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure all cleaning operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, providing guidance to on-site teams and vendors.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients and stakeholders regarding commercial cleaning services.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial cleaning management or facilities operations, with significant experience managing remote teams or vendors.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and contract negotiation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with facility management software and virtual collaboration tools.
- Strong understanding of industry best practices in cleaning, sanitation, and health & safety.
