Principal CPA, Director of Client Accounting Services (CAS) role at Revel CPA | The Creatives' CPA. This is a full-time, remote work role with opportunities to manage and lead a team.

Responsibilities- Setting, Communicating, and Implementing Team Goals:
Create a clear vision and strategic objectives for the client delivery team, using EOS principles to keep everyone aligned and moving forward. - Building a Positive, High-Performing Culture:
Foster an environment within the Delivery Team where collaboration, inclusivity, and top-notch performance are the norm. - Mentoring and Supporting the Team:
Provide Senior Accountants with guidance, tools, and resources to lead their Pods, nurture client relationships, and help them grow in their roles. - Nurturing Client Relationships and Service Excellence:
Maintain high client satisfaction by building strong relationships, ensuring quality standards, and engaging in proactive, strategic conversations about clients’ financial health and growth. - Measuring and Optimizing Performance:
Use KPIs and other measures to track team performance, ensure compliance, and make data-driven decisions to maintain high-quality delivery. - Continuously Improving Team Efficiency and Client Services:
Seek ways to enhance team effectiveness, streamline workflows, and explore new services to support client growth. - Staying Ahead of Industry Changes and Innovating:
Stay informed about accounting rule updates and regulatory shifts, applying changes to keep the business compliant and capable of innovating for clients.
- You’ll be able to balance being approachable yet professional in communications—written and verbal
- You’re an avid student of the latest in accounting rules, regulations, and guidelines
- You’re a CPA with 8+ years of experience, the majority in public accounting serving a variety of clients
- You're passionate about developing and empowering teams through coaching and mentoring
- You’re comfortable in client-facing relationships and enjoy learning about clients’ businesses
- You’ll be detail-oriented, avoiding spelling errors or careless mistakes
- You’ll be an excellent communicator, proactively flagging upcoming deadlines
- You’re proficient with online, cloud-based applications and various software tools
- Your discretion is top-notch and client privacy is protected
- You have a proactive attitude and seek better ways to get work done
- You’re results-driven and ensure client deadlines are met and commitments followed through
- You have experience with at least one cloud-based accounting platform (preferably Xero, or QBO, Sage, Net Suite, etc.)
- You’ve used project management, task management, or practice management tools to track work and log progress
