- Translate organizational vision into actionable, measurable operational results
- Design and implement operational strategies aligned with The Springs Living’s long‑term goals
- Support long‑term planning and collaborate on organizational growth initiatives
- Provide regular updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors
- Offer strategic financial insight to support executive‑level decision‑making
- Oversee daily cross‑departmental operations, including logistics and customer service
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all service lines
- Recommend and implement systems and workflows to enhance efficiency
- Promote consistency and scalability through procedure standardization
- Review and enhance operational systems, tools, and technologies
- Establish and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to align with organizational goals
- Ensure operational scalability by addressing bottlenecks and preparing for expansion
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and capital allocation to maintain financial health
- Identify cost savings and implement strategies to improve financial performance
- Lead strategic financial planning and reporting for executive leadership
- Identify and evaluate new service lines and partnerships to drive growth
- Lead operational excellence in new community stabilization
- Benchmark organizational performance against industry peers to uncover areas for improvement
- Mentor senior leaders and develop succession planning pipelines
- Lead, evaluate, and develop a high‑performing operations team
- Align operations with organizational culture to strengthen employee engagement and retention
- Develop and maintain frameworks for enterprise risk identification, mitigation, and reporting
- Ensure regulatory and safety compliance with industry standards and applicable laws
- Monitor policy trends and guide strategic regulatory responses
- Lead crisis management, emergency preparedness, and business continuity planning
- Cultivate and manage strategic relationships with investors, partners, and stakeholders
- Represent the organization at local and regional levels to advance corporate objectives
- Act as liaison between the home office and community operations to ensure execution and quality control
- Foster innovation in services, technology, and resident experience
- Leverage advanced analytics and feedback to inform strategic and operational decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, or related field (master’s preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in Operational Leadership roles and preferably 5+ years of experience serving as Vice President of Operations in the senior living industry
- Proven success in scaling teams and systems for growth
- Deep understanding of operational tools, performance metrics, and strategic planning
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and change‑management skills
