What You’ll Do
As Sales Manager – Conventional Housing, you’ll lead a dynamic team of National Leasing Specialists across Coastal Ridge Real Estate’s conventional housing portfolio. You’ll be responsible for driving leasing performance through strategic leadership, coaching, and operational oversight. You’ll spend a portion of your time visiting & supporting sites directly, working side by side with on‑site team members to exemplifying excellent leasing practices and providing hands‑on support.

Located in downtown Columbus, Ohio, our corporate offices overlook the Columbus Commons which plays host to over 200 events throughout the year. Enjoy the building’s fitness center and rooftop terrace with adjoining clubroom and walk to some of the city’s best restaurants and downtown amenities. In this role, you will be primarily at our Home Office, and supporting onsite at communities local to Columbus, Ohio.
Occasional travel up to 20% may be needed.
- Lead and mentor a team to execute the leasing process which includes ensuring all leads are properly contacted and followed up on; greeting prospects and providing tours; closing the sale; assisting prospects through the application and lease process, including ensuring the proper preparation and execution of the lease agreement and all screening procedures; monitoring and participating in the resident renewal process, and ensuring the clubhouse, model and all tour routes are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and curb appeal.
- Manager & coordinate NLS assignments and scheduling.
- Oversee the administration of team site reports, including conducting debriefs with site teams, analyzing performance data, and identifying portfolio‑wide trends.
- Assist in the onboarding process to assimilate and engage new hires and new properties in the sales and leasing process.
- Partner with onsite managers to support leasing strategies, troubleshoot challenges, and celebrate wins.
- Act as main point of contact with corporate housing companies nationwide, working to support occupancy through corporate placements at our communities nationwide.
- Build and maintain cohesive and streamlined Preferred Employer program in all conventional markets.
- Support the National Sales Manager in overseeing overall sales & lead management initiatives in the conventional housing portfolio.
- Drive performance through analysis of sales and leasing related metrics and Key Performance Indicators for the conventional housing portfolio. Assist in the preparation and review of weekly and monthly performance reports related to leasing and marketing.
- Support market research efforts, guiding the team in competitive analysis, and ensuring accurate documentation of market offerings.
- Champion Coastal Ridge’s culture and values, fostering a positive and collaborative environment across all communities.
- Establish and nurture relationships with corporate housing companies nationwide. You will be their contact and representative for Coastal Ridge.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%.

- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership role within conventional housing or multifamily leasing (e.g., Leasing Manager, Assistant Property Manager).
- Experience across multiple properties and markets preferred.
- Familiarity with Entrata, preferred.
