Project Manager, Capital Projects; Mid-Atlantic

Overview

Project Manager, Capital Projects (Northeast) role at Welltower Inc. (NYSE: WELL). This is a remote position that ideally resides in Northern New Jersey or New York. The role supports Capital Projects oversight of the National senior housing portfolio, including scope development, renovation/asset plans, and budgeting to maximize asset value.

• Manages and executes daily on-site activities for multiple projects and leads project meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders to discuss problems, progress, and scheduling. Primary point of contact for all renovation activities.
• Conducts frequent property inspections to ensure safety, supervises contractors, diagnoses and troubleshoots problems, and ensures physical integrity of the property.
• Establishes expectations with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and within budget, ensuring conformance to Scope of Work and Contract Documents and safety for on-site staff and residents.
• Leads project kick-off meetings and conducts final sign-off inspections with stakeholders. Ensures project close-out documents are in order and filed appropriately.
• Prepares/updates weekly/monthly project status reports, processes invoices and change orders, and updates construction progress schedules and trackers.
• May participate in developing scopes of work, timelines, and other planning needs for redevelopment projects.

• High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management or related field highly preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years’ project management experience within the seniors housing or multi-family industries.

Some overnight travel is expected for this position.

The salary range for this role in New Jersey and New York is $90,900 – $140,000 plus bonus. Final compensation determinations depend on experience, education, skill level, location, and anticipated impact of the role.
