Caliber 1 Construction Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead, manage, and deliver high‑profile commercial, industrial, and federal projects. This role plays a pivotal function in profitability and productivity while ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, direct, and mentor Project Managers to ensure successful project completion
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, and stakeholder communication
  • Enforce quality standards and safety protocols on all projects
  • Manage subcontractors, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with plans and regulations
  • Maintain up‑to‑date cost tracking to align with profitability estimates
  • Handle contract negotiations, change orders, and customer documentation
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting of all project activities
  • Act as a strategic partner, optimizing workflows and team efficiency
Required Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or related field
  • Experience:
    • Five or more years in commercial construction project management
    • At least one year in a leadership or managerial role
    • Proven ground‑up commercial construction experience across facilities such as schools, fire stations, automotive dealerships, childcare centers, quick‑serve restaurants, and large retail/big‑box stores
  • Licensing: Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid Driver’s License
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
    • Project management software (Procore or similar)
    • Accounting cost management software (Sage or similar)
    • Scheduling software (Microsoft Project or similar)
    • Adobe/Bluebeam
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities
    • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
    • Deep understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and regulations
    • Ability to motivate and lead teams in high‑pressure environments
    • Knowledge of safety and quality standards (OSHA, building codes, etc.)
