Location: Remote

Pay: $136K‑$154K

Shift: Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

OnTrac is looking for an energetic and innovative Senior Manager of Design Engineering to help create and optimize our expanding Network that will continue to provide industry‑leading service to our customers while satisfying company goals and objectives regarding safety, efficiency, and cost containment.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 4-8 years experience in related field
• Up to 25% Travel
• It is the responsibility of every position to understand and adhere to the security guidelines outlined in OnTrac’s Acceptable Use policy and to conduct their activities accordingly.

• Design efficient Material Handling Layouts for future facilities
• Improve Material Handling Layouts to increase capacity in existing facilities
• Perform analysis of facility capacity regarding Network expansions, modifications, and volume increases
• Support the development of both short‑ and long‑term planning regarding Network design, meeting future capacity needs
• Formulate “peak season” planning to increase capacity to satisfy demand
• Identify and seize design opportunities to ensure safety, improve service, and reduce costs within Operations

• Proficiency in implementing innovation, enjoys creative problem solving, and thrives working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Demonstrates Business and Technical Acumen
• Possesses creative and innovative ideas
• Completes work with few instructions
• Has good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work
