Senior Project Manager – Developer – Multifamily

- Oversee and manage all aspects of multifamily residential projects, including design, planning, construction, and handover.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Prepare and present project proposals, schedules, budgets, and progress reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact the success of the project.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring the best value for money.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with local building codes and regulations.
- Foster a culture of safety and quality, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Manage and resolve any conflicts or disputes that arise during the project.
- Mentor and guide junior project managers and other team members.
- Continually seek opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the multifamily residential sector.
- Experience managing large‑scale, complex construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Proficient in project management software and other relevant technology.
- Experience with Chicagoland projects is highly desirable.
