HII Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Lead Program Control Manager to join our team in our Virginia Beach location! Under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Control Manager, the Lead Program Control Manager works alongside a team of Project Controllers and manages a team of Project Controllers, providing leadership, mentorship, and strategic oversight of planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting activities manages the planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of performance on projects of varying contract type, size, complexity and level of risk.
The Lead Program Control Manager is a key member of the program team and will act as the “CFO” of the programs assigned and works with the Program Managers and Operations Directors to help define the project’s goals and objectives; and recommends actions to improve progress and performance. The Lead Program Control Manager will interface with Program/Project Managers, senior technical staff, as well as other functional organizations including contracts, finance, accounts receivable, subcontract management and procurement.

Additional Responsibilities:
While this role is primarily focused on leadership and team oversight, the Lead Program Control Manager should possess the technical depth to step in and support execution when needed.
Establish and maintain cost control systems for contracts requiring validated cost and schedule controls.
