Our Seveso terminal in Tiel is the only inland gas terminal in the Netherlands. In 2026, this terminal will be rebranded as

** HSE Manager (m/f/d)**, you ensure that our operations — from the terminal in Tiel to customer deliveries — run safely, efficiently, and sustainably. You set policies, lead inspections and audits, and keep compliance with Seveso, ADR, and environmental regulations on track.

You’ll work hand in hand with the Terminal Manager, the Prevention Officer, and the Safety Committee (VO-team), while being closely connected to the Head of HSSE & Sustainability of the MB Energy Group and the Managing Director of Nefco Energy Netherlands & Belgium.

You’ll take on a broad and independent role in a compact, forward-looking, and truly international environment — backed by the stability and expertise of the MB Energy Group.##
** Your tasks in a nutshell:**
* ** Drive HSE strategy:
** You develop, maintain, and implement corporate HSE policies, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations across our operations.
* ** Ensure system compliance:
** You manage and continuously improve the Safety Management System (SMS), integrate applicable quality standards, and translate legislation and norms (via Pharius) into practical work instructions and preventive measures.
* ** Audit and inspect:
** You plan and conduct regular HSE inspections and coordinate internal and external audits covering safety, quality, environment, and sustainability (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
* ** Investigate and improve:
** You lead incident investigations, manage permits and risk assessments, and ensure effective follow-up of corrective and preventive actions.
* ** Promote sustainability:
** You safeguard and enhance processes related to bio-based energy carriers and sustainability goals, including quality control of reporting and ADR/ADNR compliance in transport and logistics.
* ** Collaborate and report:
** You work closely with the terminal manager, prevention officer, and MB Energy Group HSSE teams, preparing the annual HSEQ report with KPIs, trends, and recommendations for improvement.##
