The objective of this role is to manage and administer ALDI Supply Chain programs by economically securing product for the business, which in turn, promotes the company’s objectives of maximizing sales and controlling expenses. In addition, the position will assist with the advancement of numerous Supply Chain initiatives in accordance with company guidelines.

As a Supply Chain Supervisor, you'll be responsible for ensuring our transportation partners deliver the right product to the right place at the right time. You'll supervise a team of highly motivated Transportation Coordinators overnight who plan and execute freight from our warehouses and suppliers to stores. You'll also assist with ALDI's communications to carriers, EDI related projects, and settlement tasks.

    Year 2 - $98,250 | Year 3 - $103,500

    Remote work up to 3 days per week, in‑office 2 days per week
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement best practices within the scope of responsibilities utilizing quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Communicate and evaluate job responsibilities and performance expectations with direct reports.
  • Identify training and development opportunities for direct reports.
  • Understand company strategy and model core values to foster teamwork.
  • Propose process improvements; communicate approved changes.
  • Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to develop training materials, presentations, videos.
  • Provide input on hiring for positions reporting to supervisor.
  • Inform management of team milestones, developments, and concerns.
  • Provide coverage for colleagues when necessary.
  • Anticipate, mediate, and deescalate conflicts proactively.
  • Serve as secondary link between staff and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and conduct internal audits.
  • Align team strategies with department strategies.
  • Ensure proper archiving and disposal of documentation.
  • Analyze work procedures to simplify while maintaining effectiveness.
  • Provide daily direction and communication to internal teams, agencies, vendors.
  • Support department, divisions, stores; contact internal or external vendors when required.
  • Supervise day‑to‑day operations; escalated issues appropriately.
  • Ensure direct reports complete responsibilities timely to provide customer service.
  • Comply with privacy and security requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field required.
  • Minimum 3 years progressive experience in Supply Chain.
  • Or, combination of education and experience forming equivalent knowledge.
  • Relevant ALDI business experience with exceptional success required.
Physical & Travel Requirements
  • Work may be performed in office, remote office, or combination.
  • Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move.
