Role DescriptionWe are seeking an individual to be our Chief Executive Officer and to lead Hitchhiker Orbital Inc. in achieving its mission. It is no small mission, the right candidate will see this and recognize the immense potential.
Previously you have been part of a startup, preferably as a founder, or other c‑suite executive. You understand the dynamics of early startups, engaging with VC’s, and are fearless. You have been instrumental in creating value and visionary in delivering the mission and vision of what an organization has to offer.
As the CEO, your first priority is to bring in other like‑minded individuals who are as driven as you, and to craft a plan for the first year that honors the integrity and ingenuity of our patents and our foresight. The founder wants to be able to hand the reins over, not oversee the CEO. This is a full‑time hybrid role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications- An insatiable desire to change the landscape.
- An ability to quiet the room when presenting your vision for the firm.
- Verifiable fundraising history.
- Experience in aerospace and innovation is mandatory.
- A passion for dramatic landscape changing innovation, visionary strategic growth, and shaping the future of off‑planet technological advancement.
