LMS Energy is Australia’s largest emissions reducer and the national leader in biogas-to-energy and solar on landfill. LMS requires the services of a full-time or part-time Procurement Manager in Prospect, South Australia.

As part of our team, you will collaborate with the Procurement Group Manager where your role will primarily involve overseeing end-to-end procurement and contract lifecycle including tendering, evaluation, negotiation and compliance. Your role will also involve managing the company fleet of over 150 vehicles to ensure efficiency, compliance, and value for the business.

Responsibilities
  • Lead tendering for supplier contracts, including identifying and evaluating new suppliers
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, with a focus on cost savings, favourable terms and process efficiencies
  • Ensure VFM (value for money) is being achieved
  • Proactively manage ongoing supplier relationships
  • Provide expert contract management advice to internal stakeholders
  • Ensure ongoing compliance of suppliers with contract terms and conditions, and report exceptions
  • Maintain an understanding of codes and legislation that will impact material and equipment purchases
  • Prepare and distribute monthly procurement reporting to stakeholders in accordance with agreed deadlines to include total spend, number of POs raised, DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time) performance, and savings achieved
  • Manage all aspects of the company’s vehicle fleet operations, including acquisition, leasing, maintenance, and disposal
  • Develop and maintain a fleet strategy to ensure cost-effectiveness, safety, and efficiency
  • Monitor fleet utilisation, fuel consumption, and operating costs to optimise performance
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements for vehicles and drivers
  • Build relationships with potential future fleet service providers
  • Prepare and distribute monthly fleet reporting to stakeholders in accordance with agreed deadlines
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Prepare and ensure up-to-date policies and procedures applicable to the role
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience in a relevant Supply Chain role
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, law, supply chain or related is desirable
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain principles
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Proven ability to manage a fleet and monitor vehicle compliance
  • Understanding of contract administration and compliance
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Australian Drivers Licence
