Provide the Rockefeller Center Finance Manager with effective supplemental support for the administrative tasks of the Center, focusing on contracting, procurement policy, business expense compliance, and grant administration.
DescriptionTerm position, 12 months, minimum 2‑year need; after that possibility of becoming permanent.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree plus 3‑5 years experience or equivalent combination.
- Three+ years office experience in a related field with a high degree of autonomy.
- In‑depth knowledge of office procedures.
- Strong organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
- High proficiency with computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Initiative, sound judgment and ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Grant and contract management skills.
- Familiarity with accounting controls and systems.
- Manage, plan and coordinate contracting process for co‑curricular and curricular programming.
- Coordinate with Assistant Director of Public Programs for administrative needs of public events.
- Maintain accurate contract, agreement, PO records.
- Ensure compliance with College contracting policy and procedures.
- Maintain strong relationships with the Procurement team.
- Apply knowledge of College finance policies and procedures.
- Assist Finance Manager with daily receipt, invoice and documentation preparation and submission.
- Develop internal controls and policies to ensure compliance.
- Assist Finance Manager to solicit and manage Center grant awards.
- Work with ASFC grant administrative team for compliance.
- Plan, coordinate and participate in projects and special events related to Center leadership programs.
- Develop and implement project activities based on defined scope and objectives.
- Collaborate with students via lectures and learning activities.
- Demonstrate commitment to diversity, inclusion, and cultural awareness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Full‑time (12 months term); hybrid remote eligibility; term may become permanent.
