Responsibilities- Develop collaborative programs with employers, training partners, job seekers, and upskilling employees.
- Manage daily operations, foster relationships, and recruit job- seeking participants from disadvantaged communities.
- Ensure timely support for all stakeholders and manage budget, workplan updates, cost and progress tracking.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, build and manage contact database sets, conduct audience research, and support program partners.
- Account for meeting contract deliverables, program KPIs, budget targets, and reporting requirements.
- Operate in a hybrid environment; incumbent must live in the San Diego area.
- Bachelor’s degree in learning development, human resource management, public administration, education, marketing, management, sustainability, or related field; OR a combination of education and experience (minimum of 10 years) in learning development, education, sustainability, and/or energy efficiency, equity/advocacy work.
- Valid California driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and minimum required level of automobile insurance.
- Preferred certifications: PMP, LEED, BPI, NABCEP, EPA 608, and/or NATE.
- Ten years of progressive professional experience in an education/outreach capacity.
- Four years of demonstrated management experience effectively meeting profit and loss, schedule, and quality service requirements in a remote work environment.
- Two years managing an office, program, or multiple projects and two years leading cross-functional teams and matrixed staff.
- Previous leadership experience in workforce development, recruiting, education, customer service, partnership building, advocacy, and construction trades.
- Proven consistent success developing and implementing educational programs, project scopes, budgets, in-person and online/on-demand course administration processes, program improvement plans, and forecasts.
$75,000 - $85,000 per year. Final compensation determined based on experience, education, and location.
