Job DescriptionWe are seeking a CEO to lead and scale its waste management operations
. This role owns overall business performance, including strategy, operations, client management, growth, and P&L, while ensuring best‑class QHSE compliance
, service quality, and team leadership.
- Define and execute the business strategy and operating model for waste management activities.
- Drive business growth across existing services and new opportunities (recycling, sustainability/green initiatives).
- Lead client and stakeholder management including key accounts, partners, and relevant authorities.
- Oversee contracts and subcontractors
, ensuring compliance, performance, and effective governance. - Establish and continuously improve processes, controls, and reporting to support operational excellence.
- Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
, ensuring cost discipline and margin delivery. - Lead change management initiatives, including digitization/automation and performance improvement programs.
- Build, lead, and develop high‑performing teams (hiring, training, coaching, succession planning).
- Champion a strong Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) culture and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
- Consistently model and enforce safe work practices
, incident reporting, and risk prevention. - Ensure adherence to security and cybersecurity requirements, including during travel and remote work.
- Promote a mindset of continuous improvement
, operational discipline, and digital adoption.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including 7–8+ years in a comparable senior leadership role.
- Proven track record leading multi‑site operations
, P&L ownership
, and client‑facing delivery in the UAE/GCC. - Demonstrated experience in change management and digital/process transformation
. - Strong commercial acumen and market understanding; able to build pipelines and win/retain business.
