Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for an Area Sales Manager based in Greater Chattanooga, with flexibility to work from home part of the time. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and leading a team to deliver sales results effectively. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, training and mentoring team members, implementing effective sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets.

The manager will also provide ongoing support to clients and ensure service excellence.

Qualifications
  • Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills
  • Proven experience in sales strategy development, client relations, and revenue growth
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in modern sales tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing on‑site and remote tasks
  • Previous experience in the insurance or financial services industry is an advantage
