Overview
The Vice President, Global Sales is responsible for leading a diverse commercial team focused on consumables growth within the Americas, Europe, and Asia. As a key member of the leadership team, the VP, Global Sales reports directly to the President and has direct line responsibility for a cross-regional leadership team with a total associate population of 200+ associates. The role includes creating a vision to drive growth, profitability and high customer satisfaction as well as fostering an inclusive and engaging culture within the team.
Preference is for the candidate to be located in CA. Relocation assistance is available. Remote work will be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership:
Provides leadership and coaching for all direct reports, driving a high-performance culture across the function. Improves organizational and people capabilities while championing engagement. - Stay abreast of industry standards and act as a role model for values including Diversity and Inclusion.
- Strategic commercial leadership:
Develop strategic, trusted partnerships with global customers at multiple levels of their organizations. - Support and drive sales process improvement toward outstanding operational excellence and customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Collaborate with cross-department business partners in the deployment of joint critical initiatives.
- Develop optimized sales structure to account for customer needs (e.g., outside sales, inside sales, ecommerce, etc.).
- Develop and manage international channel partners with a focus on compliance and growth.
- Create and lead strategic growth initiatives in line with corporate mission and vision.
- Process leadership:
Lead in building a funnel of market intelligence using tools such as business intelligence and market analysis data to inform strategy development, deployment of tactical plans, and build organizational capability; utilize and promote Company Business System (BS) Tools to address process improvement, standard work, and visual management. - Consistently review leading performance metrics and champion changes for success.
- 10+ years of experience with a minimum of 5 years leading people leaders.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related Life Sciences subject area.
- Must be willing to travel 50%.
The base salary range for this role is $ - $. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
