AGL is looking for a Mobile Equipment Redistribution & Divestiture (ERDS) Team Supervisor to work in Killeen, TX. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!

The Mobile ERDS Team (MET) Supervisor will be responsible for managing and coordinating operational strategies of Equipment Redistribution & Divestiture (ERDS) at three Army Continuous Transformation (CT) focused locations:
Fort Bragg, Fort Hood, and Fort Carson, as well as 11 Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS) locations during fly-away missions. Supervises and coordinates activities for ERDS fly-away missions by monitoring schedules and timelines of deployable fly-away team members. This role is critical to ensuring accountability, compliance with government regulations, and efficient handling of government property during turn-in or retrograde operations.

Responsibilities
  • Manages and coordinates operational strategies. Reviews, analyzes, and prepares reports, records, and data required for planning activities.

  • Develops and implements policies, practices, procedures, and operating goals.

  • Approves and allocates resources based on business priorities.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.

  • Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.

  • Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.

  • Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies.

  • Manage all aspects of equipment turn-in operations in accordance with contract requirements, Army regulations, and supply/logistics directives.

  • Coordinate workflows for receiving, inspecting, documenting, and preparing military equipment for turn-in (e.g., to DLA Disposition Services or other DoD entities).

  • Ensure proper segregation, classification, and handling of serviceable/unserviceable or hazardous materials.

Government Property Accountability
  • Enforce 100% accountability for all equipment received and processed.

  • Ensure compliance with Army supply policies (e.g., AR 735-5, AR 710-2) and property book procedures.

  • Work with the Army’s GCSS-Army, G-Army, or other automated logistics systems for turn-in documentation and tracking.

Personnel & Team Leadership
  • Supervise a team of logistics technicians, warehouse staff, forklift operators, and quality control personnel.

  • Provide task directions, training, scheduling, and performance monitoring.

  • Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and Army site regulations.

Compliance & Safety
  • Maintain compliance with Army, DoD, OSHA, and environmental regulations related to property handling and disposal.

  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure PPE, material handling equipment (MHE), and procedures meet all safety standards.

Reporting & Communication
  • Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on turn-in volumes, processing timelines, and discrepancies.

  • Liaise with Army PBOs, Supply Support Activity (SSA) personnel, CORs, and other government representatives.

  • Maintain documentation and records in accordance with contract and audit requirements.

Continuous Improvement
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency.

  • Utilize lean logistics or 5S principles to improve throughput, reduce errors, and enhance workplace organization.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Equipment turn-in throughput (items/day or per week)

  • Accuracy of documentation and property accountability

  • Safety incident rate

  • Turnaround time for processing and classification

  • Compliance rate with Army property and supply procedures

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent military/civilian experience).

  • Minimum 5 years in logistics or supply chain management, with 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.

  • Prior experience with military supply systems and equipment turn-in operations is highly preferred.

  • Knowledge of GCSS-Army, FEDLOG, DLA Disposition Services procedures, and Army equipment classifications (LIN/NICN/NSN).
