Position SummaryThe Warehouse Team Lead – Taco Cranston (TCR) is a key operational leader responsible for driving efficiency, accuracy, and safety within the TCR warehouse. This role ensures seamless execution of daily workflows, including material handling, inventory control, and order fulfillment, while meeting or exceeding established KPIs and customer expectations. The Team Lead provides hands‑on leadership, coaching, and development to team members, enforces compliance with company standards, and champions a culture of continuous improvement and workplace safety.

- On-Time Delivery – Percentage of shipments delivered on schedule
- Month-End Shipping Revenue – Dollar value versus budgeted goal
- Past Due Dollar Amount – Dollar variance against budgeted goal
- Inventory Accuracy – Percentage of accurate adjustments and moves
- Transactional Accuracy – Percentage of error‑free ERP transactions
- Customer Service – Warehouse‑related customer feedback and satisfaction
- PO Receipt & Put-Away Timeliness – Queue completion and COMMBD part quantity accuracy
- Operational Leadership:
Direct and coordinate warehouse activities, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, to ensure optimal workflow and productivity. - Workload Planning:
Prioritize and assign tasks to meet production schedules and customer requirements. - Team Development:
Train, mentor, and coach team members on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies. - Quality & Compliance:
Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures, ensuring accuracy in documentation, inventory, and transactions. - Systems Management:
Utilize ERP systems for material movement, scheduling, and shipping; monitor inventory accuracy via ERP and Power BI dashboards. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with production and other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and operational alignment. - Inventory Control:
Conduct cycle counts and audits to maintain inventory integrity. - Continuous Improvement:
Identify process inefficiencies and implement best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs. - Safety & Equipment Oversight:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations; maintain equipment functionality and initiate work orders as needed. - Conflict Resolution:
Address team issues promptly through coaching and escalation when necessary. - Other Duties:
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support warehouse operations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate degree a plus.
- 5+ years of warehouse experience; 1-year leading team preferred.
- Lean 5S certification preferred.
- Ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Proficiency in warehouse operations and equipment handling.
- ERP system experience with strong data navigation skills.
- Strong decision-making and conflict management abilities.
- Effective time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Leadership capability to guide and influence team performance.
- Physical ability for repetitive tasks, including standing and lifting.
- Flexible schedule availability (early mornings, evenings, weekends).
This role operates in both office and warehouse settings, requiring frequent exposure to large equipment, noise, and safety-sensitive conditions. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory in designated areas. Strong verbal and auditory skills are essential. The position is primarily on‑site, with limited ad hoc remote work flexibility.
Management: This position does not have direct reports but serves as a key influencer and coordinator within the warehouse team.
