Construction Manager

Job Summary

Construction Manager in the Remote Construction Division of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic. 100% temporary duty assignment (TDY) located at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Africa, lasting up to 1 year. May be filled as a temporary promotion or reassignment. Salary is not inclusive of locality adjustment, which will be determined after selection.

• Review project management data (cost, schedule, risks, quality assurance) to determine progress or shortfalls against project objectives.
• Evaluate programs for quality assurance and quality management to ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and best practices.
• Identify and evaluate solutions to issues and problems.
• Discuss the development of operational requirements with managers.
• Prepare written reports to provide status updates.
