Jacobs is looking for a dynamic, highly‑motivated Water/Wastewater & Facilities Health & Safety (H&S) Manager to be a part of our Southeast Region team. This position will lead the development, implementation, and administration of the Operations Management and Facilities Services (OMFS) health and safety program within the southeast region.
Key Duties- Conduct comprehensive reviews of potential risks on projects (H&S, contracting) and identify potential mitigation measures
- Establish safety culture for North region
- Conduct comprehensive audits and assessments
- Investigate incidents and complaints concerning H&S risks
- Maintain expert knowledge of specific requirements/regulations imposed by governmental agencies (US and Ontario, Canada) and Jacobs policies and procedures
- Conduct H&S classroom training (Confined Space, Fall Protection, Scaffold, Excavation, etc.)
- Act as a subject‑matter expert
- Recommend improvements to and provide technical review of H&S tools, processes, policies, procedures, and training

Desired Qualifications- B.S. in industrial hygiene, safety, or related field required
- Minimum of 7 years H&S project management
- Valid driver's license with no major infractions
- Valid US Passport
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Experience with addressing OSHA inspections/citations
- Experience with pre‑qualifying subcontractors
- Experience with managing direct reports
- M.S. in industrial hygiene, safety, or related field preferred
- Experience with operations and maintenance work, water and wastewater plant operations, and facilities maintenance activities preferred
- Industrial Hygiene experience preferred
- Current with HAZWOPER training preferred
- CSP or CIH preferred
