Position Title:
Maintenance Operations Manager.
SSC Services for Education, a National Best‑in‑Class Facility Service Provider under Compass Group, seeks a seasoned professional for the Maintenance Operations Manager role at Texas A&M University.
Job SummaryYou will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of mechanical and electrical systems, along with POM, general maintenance, and Preventive Maintenance Programs. Provide world‑class customer service and manage building operations at Texas A&M University.
Key Responsibilities- Manages the performance of vendors to ensure highest quality of service and the best value.
- Installs standard programs utilizing best practices in maintenance.
- Initiates installation of required programs for assigned units.
- Trains account personnel in proper maintenance techniques, procedures, and all safety procedures.
- Performs all functions a manager performs in operating an account.
- Operates, implements, and develops QA programs, CMMS, and monthly reports.
- Interfaces with clients and staff to provide project status reports and ensure customer needs are met.
- Manages trades departments providing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, utilities, carpentry, and painting services at TAMU.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in custodial, maintenance, or groundskeeping.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
