SALARY: The salary range for this position is $72,030.32 to $ for Schedule A, and $72,030.32 to $ for Schedule

B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to August 29, 2015, are considered Schedule

A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after August 29, 2015, are considered Schedule

The Judiciary offers a strong opportunity for growth. Under the general direction of the Court Executive 2B (Vicinage Family Division Manager) and the Court Executive 1B (Vicinage Assistant Family Division Manager), the selected candidate will supervise, manage, and coordinate the diversified activities of a team comprised of probation officers and clerical support personnel, and provide direct service to the Family Judges.

The individual will instruct and evaluate staff or team members on work-related matters; regulate flow of work in accordance with operating schedules/procedures; direct work between units or teams; identify and address personnel issues in communication with senior management; conduct formal work performance evaluations with staff; determine staff or training needs; mentor and coach staff; ensure established standards are met; recommend and/or implement personnel actions;

and actively and cooperatively participate on the Family Management Team. Each team is responsible for performing various aspects of case processing from intake to disposition, including docketing, case preparation, calendaring, records management, adjournments, dismissals, preparation of reports, and perform other related duties as required. The selected candidate must have strong writing and grammar skills to draft protocols and procedures, staff expectations, evaluations, work improvement plans, as well as other professional memoranda as requested by management.

The selected candidate must be self-motivated and diligent; make suggestions for workflow improvements; facilitate cooperation and teamwork among staff and colleagues; and demonstrate a professional demeanor when handling stressful work-related situations.

REMOTE WORK: The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and three years of professional experience, one year of which shall have included experience in case management; enforcement of court orders; and/or supervision, monitoring and intervention of offenders. Experience in automated systems to include FACTS, NJKIDS, eTRO and the ability to interact with community leaders/agencies, stakeholders, and organizations is a plus.
